Tealhand on Windows

Tealhand Host runs on each computer you want to reach. It checks and runs only what your phone signs, and it runs as you, never as an administrator.

The signed installer comes with the first release. Until then, build Tealhand Host from source. It takes a few commands.

Build it today

You need: Windows 11 x64, Git, Rust through rustup, and the Visual Studio C++ Build Tools (Desktop development with C++).

First, get the code and build it, in PowerShell.

git clone https://github.com/tealvpn/tealhand
cd tealhand
rustup toolchain install
cargo build -p tealhand-host

Then connect your phone. Both must be on the same network.

.\target\debug\tealhand-host.exe connect

Scan the QR code with Tealhand on your phone. Type y only if both show the same check code.

Then start it and leave it running.

.\target\debug\tealhand-host.exe run

When Windows Firewall asks, allow it on private networks. Ctrl-C stops it.
