What you get
India
Delhi · Pro
Connected to Delhi, your traffic leaves the Teal VPN server in India: websites see that server’s address, and the network you are on, at home or abroad, sees one encrypted connection. The same account works on Android, Windows, Mac, Linux and Android TV, on up to 3 devices with Pro.
Teal VPN uses traffic obfuscation, so the connection is harder to identify on networks that filter VPN traffic, and the app tries another route by itself when one stalls. No VPN can promise to connect on every network.
Who the India location is for
Indians abroad. Indian websites and apps often behave differently for visitors from outside the country: different prices, a different catalogue, or extra verification. Connecting through Delhi shows them an Indian address. Your bank or a service tied to your SIM may still ask for the usual checks; a VPN does not change your phone number or your account.
People in India on public Wi‑Fi. Hotel, café, airport and campus networks see every site you open. With Teal VPN on, they see one encrypted connection to a server in Delhi, and your browsing stays fast because the traffic never leaves the country.
Travellers inside India. One tap gives the same private connection on every network you meet, with a location in the country you are in.
A free VPN that works in India
Teal Free is included with every account: 500 MB of data each day, up to 2 devices, no card, no ads. The Free location is Šiauliai, Lithuania; the Delhi location is part of Teal Pro. 500 MB covers messaging, email and light browsing on a network you do not trust, which is what most people need a free VPN for.
Teal Free has the same encryption, the same obfuscation and the same apps as Pro. It does not sell data and shows no ads; the only differences are data, locations and devices. The Free plan in detail.
How to connect to India
Install Teal VPN from Google Play (Android, Chromebook, Android TV) or from the download pages for Windows, Mac and Linux. Sign in with Google, Apple or email. Open the location list, choose India, and tap Connect. The app remembers the location for next time.
If India will not connect on a particular network, try another location first, then another network: the connection checklist explains how to tell a network restriction from an app problem.
